This has allowed him to understand the needs of institutional providers as well as the individual advisors. With AssetMark, he starts by assessing an advisor’s business and determining their goals for moving forward. He can coach them to articulate why their best clients work with them and, together, they translate that message into a story for attracting prospects and doing better work with clients. You will assess your staff, technology, and process to determine where you are and where you want to be. Advisors enlist James’ expertise to plan for growth, create equity, and transition their businesses. Earlier in his career he served in various management, production and training roles with TDAmeritrade and Bank of the West. His management and project management background has helped him to be more effective in analyzing businesses and effecting positive change.
